Even if you are familiar with New Zealand Property Law there are serious risks associated with not discussing with a Lawyer prior to the sale, purchase or leasing of any premises.
If you are not familiar then to buy or lease premisis, simplying relying on the Sellor's Estate Agent (who will have a pre-prepared Sale and Purchase Agreement/Lease all ready for you to sign - as they act for the Seller not you) is fraught with danger. To get released from such a deal may be impossible, costly or may tie you into a commitment that, with advice or upon reflection, may not be the great deal the Agent sold it as.
If you are Selling we can discuss and advise upon the supporting evidence and wording of the Agreement to achieve the best outcome for you.
Please e-mail matt@lawconnect.co.nz to discuss.
